Balmain Blokes came about this year during the Queensland floods. Danny saw all the devastation to small communities just like ours and wanted to do something to help. Danny says, ‘We are so fortunate here in Balmain, with such a strong sense of community I know it’s not just me that will be willing to help out others.’

Danny has been completely overwhelmed with the amount of support from locals and business’ alike. ‘The willingness of people to donate their time is amazing. Not only to be in the calendar and get their gear off but also to supply the photography, printing, venues, prizes etc... It has been a real tribute to the people of Balmain’.

Danny would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the contributors to the Balmain Blokes calendar and is chuffed at the level of interest for another calendar next year.

The proceeds from this year’s calendar will be going to the Queensland Flood Appeal and in the future Danny hopes to help out people from our own neck of the woods.
